I have some platinum-priced tickets to sell for this show.

They are 3rd Row - Ged's side.

PM me if you're interested.

I am down to 3 of these.

Feel free to PM me if you have any interest. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/1022.gif

I now have just 2 of these tickets left!

Please let me know if you have any interest! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/1022.gif

Over-ratedBIT Room does have a small patio. Packed though.

We were planning on hitting the Orbit room for well, I guess because of the Alex connection and we thought it was supposed to be a pretty cool place. Questioning that idea now...

It is a pretty cool place - especially if you've never seen it. It's basically a local college bar with a (non-apparent) connection to Alex Lifeson.

My wife and I have hung out there on occasion or two, and the bartender even gave her a cool little Polaroid of Alex that was tacked up behind the bar ( coz my wife is that cool ;] ).

I'm not saying I'd change all my plans to go there - and what with 2 Rush shows there that week might be a lot of looky-lou's - but it's 1.5 miles West of Younge and if you're going to be going in and around downtown TO anyway, I'd go.

Yes, there's nothing to distinguish it from any other college pub if you didn't know AL was part owner, but then you're talking to someone who went to Danforth and Pape just to take a picture.

Just my $.02.

Thanks, I appreciate the info. We'll probably check it out and get a pic or two to say we've been there. Anything else Rush specific in the area worth hitting?

Well this article "A Rush Fan's Guide to Toronto" has been the de facto standard for years. I'm surprised to see it's still around, as I believe it hasn't been updated in a very long time.

Definitely don't leave town without getting your picture taken in front of the Parliament Building.

Also, not sure how much time you have, but the Science Museum is one of the most amazing I've ever seen. It's a bit of a haul by public transportation though, so watch out for that if you don't have a car. We burned much of our time just getting out there and back in '07.

Thanks, pretty cool! Not sure what I'll have time to do but a couple look like they would be fun.

All packed, heading out Monday, tommorow. Question. Any suggested places in Toronto to get Rush gear, tees or sweatshirts in town?

If you go to Younge St, you'll find pretty much any concert tee store has Rush stuff, especially this week.

Word to the wise... Orbit Room is going to be pretty much PACKED this whole weekend so if you're going, go early when it first opens at 10pm or you'll be in a line for most of the night.

Us locallers don't usually party at OR. Nice to visit if you've never been. but we go elsewhere if you get turned away at the door.

The best part about the Orbit Room is that it's jam packed full of RUSH fans on show nights... especially the patio. The bad part about the Orbit Room is they typically charge a $10 cover, drinks are overpriced and it's JAM packed full of RUSH fans on show nights.... and you can be waiting on the stairs for entry for a while if they're over capacity.

Cool place to visit if you've never been... but there are other spots that are decent as well.

I'd check the bars around the Courtyard Marriott on Yonge just north of College since that is where the RUSHCon folks are staying.

Tonight's the night!! I'm SO pumped for my 5th Rush show!! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/1022.gif

Question for those who live in the GTA. Any road closures along the 401 that you know about? I shall be driving to Yorkdale to take the subway down to Union and would love if there were no last minute surprises as I'm driving lol http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif
