It takes horror cliches and throws them in all different directions. Not that scary...at least for me, and at parts very funny, but very well written, and very unique.. Go and see it ASAP... Ancient Ways Posted September 30, 2012 Share Posted September 30, 2012 Saw this at a friend's house last night. I revived this thread since the other had more spoilers. If you aren't a fan of horror in general I suggest you give this movie a shot. This movie is in no way the typical horror movie and I was pretty impressed with the angle of this story. My main issue was I thought they gave us too much info on the "whys" and "whos" of what was behind the cabin too early. It was different than your average horror film. It just was poorly made. The acting was horrific, dialog was atrocious, and you really didn't know where the film was going. Just wasn't my cup of tea.
