I would die if this were to become a reality...

That'd make up for an empty bucket list.

I might not die, but would quite possibly have multiple orgasms.

This made me laugh hysterically.

Needs more album references on it though.

This will blow your mind? Now the question is? Is the image of the Hydrant Appearing or Fading because of the dog pee?

It could be water leaking from the hydrant...

I would guess the odds of them playing all of Signals would be virtually zero for many reasons. Some of you guys are setting yourself up for unrealistic expectations. It's not impossible but the odds are probably better of winning the lottery. In fact, the more I think about it it is impossible.

I think it's more realistic that they'll do a five or so song "suite" to celebrate Signals 30-year anniversary. Stuff they normally play plus one or two "gems".

Subdivisions

The Analog Kid

Digital Man

The Weapon

New World Man

There you go.

It means if you go take a pee break during the concert, they'll play your favorite Signals song.

I'd replace Digital Man and New World Man with Chemistry and Losing It.

Maybe, that's at least realistic to sort of "highlight" the album by playing more of it than they normally would. Otherwise, it just doesn't make any sense.

That's what I initally though! That the fading Hydrant might mean exactly that: not all of Signals but a majority of it!

It's a nice try what you did there but I just don't see it as plausible.

1. There's no way to promote this tour cohesively and effectively as a new album tour with a strong theme and an anniversary tour. "See Rush live this fall performing Signals in its entirety for its 30th anniversary!... Oh, also they have a new album..." - No way.

2. Geddy has made a conscious effort to get away from the keyboards on stage and only HYF is more smothered in keyboards than Signals is.

3. They just signed with a label that promotes hard rock for the most part and from what we know of the new album it's most likely to appeal to the "rocker" crowd which is exactly the same group of people that Signals completely alienated upon its release.

4. Outside of Subdivisions and New World Man the majority of the crowd won't even know what the hell they're playing. Or care.

5. No chance in hell that Signals gets played in full before 2112 or Permanent Waves.

6. They won't repeat this same idea two tours in a row only this time with a much less popular album.

7 No chance in hell Losing It ever gets played live. Countdown is way too topical to bring back.

8. There would be just as many people turned off of buying tickets by this announcement as excited by it.

Those are just some of the serious obstacles. Don't misunderstand, I'd be very happy if they played it, I'm just trying to bring some sense to this because on the face of it there is none. The odds of hearing Tai Shan live are greater than this happening.

Well Ed was just asked to remove them from Management, so that seems to validate that ONE of the two is official.

The more I look at them, the more I think they're both fake.

At this point, I HOPE they're fake. They both seem very uninspired.

But Ed (RIAB) seems to have gone "all in" with these. I hope he's not setting himself up for another Olympics moment. sad.gif
