Reason for the gap!

I went with the tour is delayed to coincide with the release of the book! Its the only logical answer, I think!

I chose Neil wanting to be with his daughter, but I think it's a combo of a broader desire to do personal stuff on the part of all three of them, wanting the hype of the album (and maybe book) to sink in a bit before they tour, and maybe a bit more rest for Geddy's voice.

Thats a great point! I didn't hink of allowing more time for Geddy voice to rest! You're probably right it might be a combinations of many factors.

I think they know after pushing this record back so many times that if they wait until Fall to release it after it has been mixed since January that it very well might piss off the ENTIRE fanbase.

Wrong Thread dude! This is about the gap betweem the release of CA in may and the beginning of the tour in the fall!

They want to wait to release the record closer to tour time maybe(and to coincide with the book) but know they shouldn't because they have made us wait so long already.

Rush doesnt write anything very difficult to play anymore. Both Caravan and BU2B are very simple, so I cant possibly believe its because its too difficult to reproduce.

 

I just think they need time to plan the tour out, rehearse, get the stage show going. All stuff that takes time.
