Under Music, you have a genre category... list them, and a band example (you can see what iTunes considers that genre by clicking on it)

I don't use the genre space. If something shows up in there I delete it. I like what I like. I actually started putting the month and year in there so I could arrange things chronologically. For instance if something came out this month I would list it: 03/12.

I never use genre, although I don't delete the ones iTunes automatically gives me.

 

 

But here are the main ones (my iPod is only 8 gb so I have to trim my music significantly)

Hayley is a great talent. I have a lot of respect for her as she has (so far) stuck to her roots. It would be very easy for her to sex it up, hire some producers and make a bag of money doing a crossover/pop/dance thing.

I read online that she had the opportunity to be a pop solo artist before Paramore was formed, but she declined in order to form a pop punk band.
