There's a preview clip of the Ginger Baker documentary 'Beware of Mr. Baker' featuring Eric Clapton, Johnny Rotten, Carlos Santana, Charlie Watts, Neil Peart and others posted posted on here.

The documentary will be featured at the SXSW film festival in Austin this month.

Ginger Baker self proclaimed "greatest drummer who ever lived" or something of that sort anyway....I like his playing as much as the next guy but he suffers from great delusions if he thinks he is the greatest player to ever live.

Sadly Ginger Baker has passed away - link here, with a nice quote from Neil: https://www.bbc.co.u...t-arts-49827436

Neil's quote is taken from the 2009 Rolling Stone feature about Ginger Baker here.

Author Jay Bulger of the Rolling Stone article is the same individual who wrote and directed the 'Beware Of Mr. Baker' documentary.

Bulger also penned a tribute article to Baker in Rolling Stone here.

Neil Peart was interviewed by Classic Rock DJ Jeff Woods of Q107 Toronto in late 2014 to promote his book Far and Near: On Days Like These and the R40 – 40th Anniversary Collectors Boxset.

Initially there was a truncated interview posted to hear.

However a couple of years ago, Woods posted a unedited version of the Peart interview, which can be heard here.

Peart discussed the influence of Ginger Baker beginning at the 24:35 mark.

Great interview.

I thought that quote was familiar. I'm not sure Neil has made any public statements since his retirement from drumming.
