The title track, Xanadu, and Cygnus X-1 are all among my favorite Rush songs, but I went with Cygnus for Alex's amazing solo. It leaves me awe-struck everytime. Cool as hell when they blasted through some riffs of it on R30! The Different Stages version on the Hammerstein Disc is a treasure. MakeHaste Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 ooh... tough decision... definatley between xanadu and cygnus... xanadu is classic rush, its so fulfilling... i can never really get tired of it. and the notes just hit a certain nerve in me... cygnus will always appeal to my adventurous side... so progressive and complex... i really cant get tired of that one either... (but then again, i cant get tired of any rush song!) im going to have to go with xanadu, just because i like cygnus book two a little more than this one... prolly one of the toughest decisions for me!
