Dobner has assumed control Posted July 4, 2011 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Man this is another tough album to try an rank songs on. Xanadu is a fantastic epic that I could listen to all day. A Farewell to Kings I think is one of their most underrated heavy rock songs and has a message that is timeless. Cinderella man and Madrigal are both awesome, Closer to the Heart is a smooth, timeless classic. And then there is Cygnus X-1, a hard rocking, twisting and turning adventure that sends you out into our galaxy to be swallowed by a black hole. I mean, Rush is the only band who can put a story like that into a powerful rock song. Neil's impeccable precision combined with Alex's superb guitar work and Geddy's badass bass lines and powerful vocals just take this song into a whole other universe.
