Vital Signs was the first thing that came to my mind.

All the epic-ness that is Moving Pictures, the way VS breaks down and closes out is spectacular. "Everybody got to deviate from the norm...."

If S&A was more varied I would have gone with We Hold On. I can relate to it lyrically and I love the guitar during the chorus. The problem is that it blends in too well with the rest of the album to stick out as a closer.

Natural Science for just about every reason mentioned. After listening to PeW, the song itself just leaves you with the feeling of "That was awesome....AGAIN!"

Voted for Cygnus X-1. Not only does it end with that fab Geddy scream "Every nerve is torn apaaaart!", that "to be continued" must have had everyone's nerves quivering for the next album. NatSci, Available Light, and We Hold On are honorable mentions, maybe even TFoL and Between The Wheels.

A LOT of great music here, but I had to go with the best song of their best album, Natural Science. Of course, the best song off their other best album, La Villa, was almost impossible to vote against.

Hard to choose between NatSci and La Villa but my favorite edged out NatSci... barely.

Fountain Of Lamneth! There's just so much going on in that song that anyone can relate.

"Panacea" and "Bacchus Plateau" are two wonderful pieces of music that are just pure joy to listen too!

And of course "Didacts and Narpets" is just totally rad!!!

But I do like that La Villa Strangiotto not only closes out Hemispheres' but also A Farewell to Kings and the whole Classic Rush Age. It was a close choice, but I had to go with Fountain.

La Villa easily, but here are the three that were in serious contention for me.

1. La Villa

2. Working Man

3. Natural Science

It's odd reading through those choices - their final songs on albums are rarely their strongest songs on an album.

And I'll never get the love for Available Light - easily the most overrated Rush song for me...

'We Hold on' definitely!

Wow. Over LVS and Nat Science? ohmy.gif I love We Hold On, which is a very underated song, but over classic like those?

well, the first song that popped in my head was Natural Science. That's gotta be the best closer in their catalog. Then I remembered LVS is a closer as well and since it is my favorite Rush track, I decided to vote for it.

Honorable mention: Working Man.
