Well their North American tour has been announced. Here they are!

8/22 – Foxborough, MA @ Gillette Stadium

8/26 – E. Rutherford, N.J. @ MetLife Stadium

8/28 – Quebec City, Ontario @ Plains of Abraham

8/31 – Montreal, Quebec @ Olympic Stadium

9/03 – Ottawa, Ontario @ TD lace

9/05 – Moncton, New Brunswick P@ Magnetic Hill

9/08 – Detroit, MI @ Ford Field

9/10 – Toronto, Ontario @ Downsview Park

9/15 – Chicago, IL @ Wrigley Field

9/20 – Edmonton, Alberta @ Commonwealth S

9/25 – San Francisco, CA @ AT&T Parktadium

9/22 – Vancouver, British Columbia @ BC Place

9/28 – Los Angeles, CA @ Dodger Stadium

As much as I want to see them, I may be giving them a skip due to the venue in Toronto, Downsview Park. Its General Admission, and I checked prices and its 138.50 a head, no matter if you're at the front or WAYYY in the back. Has any fellow Torontonians been there for a show before?

PS. Sorry about the grey tinge to the text of the tour dates! I copied and pasted them here and thats what happened.

I pulled '74 Jailbreak out of the vault yesterday, and boy, did it bring back memories!!! This and Maiden's Powerslave were the first two metal/rock albums I bought, back in 1985. By AC/DC standards, Soul Stripper is their "prog masterpiece", with over 6 minutes...

I do like the set. The problem the band has is that they have so many well known hits, I mean HUGE HITS, that there are about a dozen songs that they need to play all the time because that's what everyone is there to hear. Their encore has been the same two songs for how many years now? But could you imagine an AC/DC show without them or BIB, Hells Bells, Shook Me, Shoot To Thrill, TNT, Rosie, Dirty Deeds, etc.

On an AC/DC fan-forum somewhere, someone is bitching about a setlist that features only four songs with the word "ROCK" in the title...

I 100% agree, they do have a HUGE amount of very well-known songs that would disappoint the masses if they were not played. That said though, I have to say I like this setlist better than the Black Ice Tour. Apart from Dog Eat Dog, you didn't really have any deep album tracks. On this one it seems the band is making more of an effort to throw a few of those tunes in like High Voltage, Have A Drink On Me (a overlooked gem from the Back In Black album), and one of my faves from their best album Powerage, Sin City. It's also good they have mixed up the song order better than they have. For example, having Shoot To Thrill at the beginning of the set when Brian's voice is fresher. He struggles more often than not with that tune nowadays.

I often think that they could MAYBE get away with dropping or rotating a couple of the old warhorses. Like Shoot To Thrill, Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be, or even Rosie. But I can see why they don't, especially at this stage of the game for them. Hard to believe Brian is gonna be 68 this year, and Chris Slade who is back on the skins for the tour (and likely for the long-term future too), is gonna be 69!

Ticket prices for the show here are $138.50, $102.50 and $78.50

No thank you.

I like the band just fine but there are only two bands that I would pay that for and they're not one of them.

Anybody else's show beat that?

The remaining 10 dates of the current US tour to be rescheduled.

Brian Johnson advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.

Well I hope he keeps some hearing , as for other singers ...no thanks already put in for my refund.

Hell it took me years to warm up to him as the singer.

Read the bad new today as well :(

I (wrongly) thought the pro's used hearing protection and/or in ear monitors to prevent hearing damage.

Might be time to hang up the Hell's Bells...

Brian says his hearing problem is due to racing, not playing...I find thta hard to believe - he´s been a musician since the 60´s, and back then there was no hearing protection at all. But it does suck that our idols are now starting to suffer health issues like that.
