"Say What You Will" which is actually a great Fastway tune but Warren DeMartini from RATT has some of the greatest guitar riffs EVER!!!

I won't even waste my time writing down the songs.

Just get:

RATT EP

OUT OF THE CELLAR

INVASION OF YOUR PRIVACY

DANCING UNDERCOVER

REACH FOR THE SKY

DETONATOR

Whitesnake-In the Still of the Night. I can still remember the first time I heard this monster. Jon Sykes nailed it. One of the greatest guitar riffs ever.

Foo Fighters - One By One

Yes, FF are the current reigning kings of the guitar riff, that much is certain.

That would be Buckethead by about 60,000 light years...

Then I need to check out some Buckethead...what do you recommend?

Wow...I'm jealous! Nothing like discovering somebody this good for the first time! Especially Buckethead who had 100's of albums! LOL

In early 2009, after hearing Treeduck and Tangy talk about him constantly, I looked him up online and gave his stuff a shot. Hooked me immediately. Being a fan of instrumentalists like Satriani, Vai, Eric Johnson, etc., I thought I'd try his stuff out.

So, so good! I own so many of his albums now. Treeduck gave you a fantastic list to start. Just check out some stuff on YouTube too. You'll be hooked asap! 1022.gif

1022.gif yes, follow the advice of treeduck. yes.gif

*United States*....especially near the end the riffs there are rhythmically slow and ends the song with a bang. Also a drum workout for any drummer.
