Well, unfortunately no.

The OP-X Pro II plug in is for PC. There was a version made for Reaktor, but it doesn't have all of the features needed for these patches to be compatible.

Scroll down to OP-X Pro II. That's the one. If ya got the extra dough laying around, I'd say this is a sound investment (and no, I'm not trying to be a salesman) as it is simple THE best Oberheim plug in.

Now, here's the updated version (different from the link above)

http://www.gamefront.com/files/21439012/Rush.rar

As well as a medley of all the patches played.

http://soundcloud.com/synthoid/rush-patches

Patch listing:

1: Jacob's Ladder strings

2: Red Barchetta pad

3: Tom Sawyer bass growl

4: Tom Sawyer String lead

5: Camera Eye Brass

6: Camera Eye Strings

7: Camera Eye Outro PWM

8: Yyz Brass

9: Witch Hunt Massive Brass

10: Subdivisions Unison bass

11: Subdivisions Brass pad

12: Losing It Sequence

13: Countdown Brass

14: Piss take on the Minimoog lead from Countdown, made by switching the above patch into Unison.

So, there ya have it!

-Adam

This is great. Unfortunately the link for the sample doesn't work anymore. Could you please provide a new link? Thanks

Hey, sorry about the wait. I've been really busy lately!

What do you need, just the strings playing the intro?

In the mean time,

Just to show you how well the OP-X fits with other instruments in a mix. Albeit the levels are a bit low for the synth.

Pretty cool. I have a better sound for the YYZ synth solo.

Not to resurrect an almost dead thread.....

I bought the Sonicprojects OP-X VSTi and it works great in Reaper. I stumbled onto this thread while looking for Rush presets for it. None of the links in this thread leads to a anything *sniff*.

if any kind soul downloaded the presets from Oberheim and could re-host them and share the link I would be grateful!

Thanks!

PS: Was unaware of the forum until I found this thread on Google... basically joined becuase of it... longtime Rush fan since the 80s... many great concert memories and Rush is basically the music of my life!

I have the "lite" OP-X player version (the $29 one) and it does everything I want it to. Not just the Rush sounds, but the banks of Prophets, Moogs, and other old stuff is really handy too.

The "Subdivisions" patch is great.

Hi Long Awaited Froind!

I'm trying to sample the Subdivisions synth for a friend. I have v2 of OP-x, but the preset there isn't quite the same as the original sound. The original is much softer and rubbery. Tried messing with the filter and balancing the oscillators but still not quite right. Are the presets you talk about here the same ones included in v2? None of the links you provided here work anymore.

Hope to hear back!

I know this is an old thread, but is the Rush.rar with the OP-X patches available somewhere these days? (All of the old links are dead). Looks like a great list of patches that I could really use. Thanks!

Okay here's a dumb question. I just downloaded that file onto my phone. Is there an app to hear them, or any way to get them onto a memory card for my Roland JV 1080?

I know this is really old but I have an OB-X and recently started to create some rush patches. If you are interested in a wav file I might be able to do one for you. I haven't worked on the right hand stuff for subdivisions but I have the lower F# patch and it is 100% spot on. But I also have OP-X and it gets very close and as a VST has allot more flexibility that the OB-X or Xa or OB-8 don't have but honestly If you have OP-X I would stick with that and tweak the patches there. I can also send you the subdivision patches I created with OP-X as well and you can use those

Doesn't work like that. those files are presets for the OP-X VST. they do not contain any audio or can be used by other apps. You will need to OP-X VST
