micgtr71
The Fender Standard Stratocaster with a humbucker in the bridge comes in under your range and is a fantastic guitar. Godin also makes some great guitars in that range. One of my fellow guitar teachers suggested one for one of his students who could not afford a Les Paul and he ended up buying one when the student brought it in. Great guitars. The Standard Telecaster also is a great guitar as well.
