Budgie - Parents 3:53

King Diamond - Black Horsemen 6:36. Best King song ever.

Hey...I can't believe someone other than me actually likes King Diamond!!! He's awesome, isn't he? It's a shame that he's had some health issues lately, and hasn't put out studio abums in recent years. Abigail, Conspiracy, Them, Fatal Portrait, The Puppet Master, House of God...all classics!!!

Right on, I love the King. I really hope he recovers and goes on tour again one day. He just played a Mercyful Fate medley with Metallica last night. Would've been awesome to see that.

Two lesser-known solos that caught my drummer's ear:

1:23-2:03 Nice melodic e-bow solo with great feedback control. Gotta turn it up!

2:09-3:00 Don't really know Mick Ronson's work, but this is fairly unhinged.

I think James Mankey (Concrete Blonde) is criminally underrated. Great solos, great guitar sounds, smart guitarist.

Mick Ronson's live version of this solo is "to die for"
