I'm not saying that he's a wonderful actor; only that he does a good job in the role's he's been cast. I personally don't like him as Bond because of what you're saying. To me, Bond needs to be more polished and likable instead of an emotionally messed up schizoid. This one however is the most joyful and exuberant movie experience I've ever had in the cinema.
