Well, "I spit on your grave 2" (I still have to see the 1st one AND the original 70s flick, with Buster Keaton's niece) is ok. I was expecting more from the "vengeance" part, instead is pretty focused on the "rape-torture" part, but no matter how filthy and cruel the men act, I didn't really get to hate them, on a gut level, because the girl is so monumentally STUPID (like in EVERY horror flick ever) in the 1st half and totally soulless revenge-machine in the 2nd. I just couldn't get the right empathy I was expecting.The 2nd Centipede is SICK. Sick b/w photography reminiscent of Eraserhead, sick lead actor, sick scenographies... it is really disturbing. The metaphor is quite clear, since the protagonist targets only jolly-rich jerks and bourguoise families with Audi. If you're pissed at the 1%, this is the movie for you. The plot is like this: wannabe model from the country gets to NY, takes up the offer for a free portfolio, ends up with creepy photographer from East Europe and his even creepier brothers.
