the tv movie pilot for Kung Fu (the original series).

It's still my favorite tv show of all time :blaze:

Is that the first time you've watched it since about the 90's?? :o

I probably haven't seen it since a rerun in the late 70s. I only remembered the beatdown he gave that racist in the saloon, the final fight, 1 or 2 temple scenes, and the spearing of that member of royalty.

That was like me a while back, I think I saw it in the early 80's and then I didn't see it again till the very end of 2009. And I watched the whole three seasons. I'll have to watch it again. I've also got the 1986 film which I've not seen yet. I was a bit worried about watching it in case it's really bad compared to the TV show.

That's the one with Brandon Lee as Caine's supposed son? Haven't seen it. That Kung Fu: Next Generation show was crap though

I never saw that. I don't think they aired it in the UK. maybe the UK networks thought it was crap too.

Just watched Winters Bone last night. Different, a little weird. Different.

I've seen that, it's not bad. I've read a few things by the writer (novel) Daniel Woodrell, he's a pretty good at country hard boiled stuff. "The Ones You Do" and "Muscle for the Wing" are pretty cool.

It was pretty decent. Visually great, the acting was pretty good, but the story was very derivative. I saw it in a fairly crappy theater; it would have been much better on IMAX.
