Atlas Shrugged Part I.

How was it?

Fantastic and I definitely recommend it! I can't wait for part II.

I'm one of the rare folks that think Batman Begins (perfect) is superior to Dark Knight (great).

I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!!1 trink39.gif

Count me in as well. I love the Joker potrayal in film 2, but thought Two-Face was weak, and the story as well. Much preferred the first in the series.

I had no problem with Two-Face. I have just a couple of minor complaints which is why I think Dark Knight is great and is still one of the best hero flicks about

2001: A Space Odyssey

What did you think? Did you read the book beforehand? I had seen it after reading the book and found that I only liked the movie from the part where *SPOILERS*

Dave has to deactivate HAL until the end of the movie.

*END SPOILERS*

I'm curious to get other's opinions, because despite having loved the book, the movie just sucked despite being to close to the source material.

I've never read the book. And I'm afraid that I'm a bit biased since Kubrick is my favorite director of all-time. But even given that, I can still admit that much of the movie is slow. However, I do like the realism of space and the score(as always with Kubrick). The imagery in the film is what many filmmakers often attempt but never come close to reaching.

dennis miller jumped the shark a long time ago

but if you're conservative i can see why you'd dig him

I used to find him funny in the 90s on HBO before he went to Fox News.

Also, not movie related, but I saw the 1st two Beavis/Butthead episodes and the recent Community episode.

Both parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,

and then Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

I'm in a Harry kind of mood lately.

Or maybe just a Ralph Fiennes kind of mood.
