summer_sky
Ancient Ways, I truly mean what I say. I'm sorry for TS's disappointment in the delay of release for an item he anticipated as a time-relevant gift and Christmas has, indeed, been bastardized by commercialism and has been morphed into something that has departed from it's original meaning. For example, some retail stores in my area have had Christmas-themed junk on their shelves for a few weeks, now. Why? Because Christmas's meaning has changed dramatically for a major portion of society (in the USA, at least).

I'm sure many people do not find Christmas overrated. You do and that is fine . The reason those stores have that m/dise on the shelf is caused by the fact that it almost all comes from Asia and it simply cannot all be shipped at once in the beginning of November. Most of it starts arriving in August and is all here be the middle of October. Distribution Centers are unable to store it so they ship it to the stores and voila - it's on the shelf. It isn't a conspiracy to ruin Christmas.
Tom Sawyer
Thanks for the .. for the .. whatever ....... just thanks. If this is the most dissapointing event to come my way in the next ... whenever... I will be most MOST grateful. This was mock sadness. Truly - in our world, of all the advercity. This is infinitesimal.
driventotheedge
Bestbuy.com still lists it as an 11/8/2001 release here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Time+Machine+2...20ray&lp=2&cp=1 They may be the exclusive seller at first?
