ALifeson85 Posted May 19, 2005 Share Posted May 19, 2005 Anyone ELSE see this movie before? I just recently watched it, and It is so DUMB, POINTLESS, MINDLESS, RANDOM....it's GENIOUS!!! LOL The humor is just..WAY off-the-wall...alot like the Monty Python movies. In Kung Pow, they used alot of footage from an actual martial arts movie from the 70's, and spliced it together with NEWER footage, (Steve Oedekerk plays "The Chosen One", and there are a few more additional actors/actresses added in the movie as well), and they overdub the voices (poorly, LOL...but done purposly) of both the actors from the 70's film, and the newer actors...and it's just hilarious! Arndrake Posted May 21, 2005 Share Posted May 21, 2005 Haven't seen it. I usually avoid the low brow humor as it sometimes makes me ill. There were scenes from the Austin Powers movies and Kingpin that did that, kind of a shame as they were actually decent films. I do remember a line from the trailers that's kind of amusing.
