hobo73
I also think this is a good way for you all to get to know my musical tastes better. AC/DC and Cheap trick are tied as my top 2 fave bands. (gotten the "you're too young to like them!" lecture many a time, as well! LOL.) I am an absolute die-hard fan of both. have all their albums <3 hehehe. Rush is a quick second! but let's move on to the others. Aerosmith, Iron maiden, scissor sisters, mercyful fate/King Diamond, Slayer, Fleetwood Mac, Jayhawks, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, the Cars....I listen to LOTS of music! I could be here all day. but i won't. =P
ColdFireYYZ
Porcupine Tree is my favorite band along with Rush. I also like Dream Theater, Yes, Marillion, Styx, Kansas, Joe Bonamassa, Allman Brothers, ELP, Beatles, Blackfield, Blue Oyster Cult, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Van Der Graaf Generator, and many more. CMWriter
Well, after the concert the other night, Cheap Trick got added to my list. They're now up there with REO Speedwagon. I've always loved Queen, too -- always. And Frank Sinatra. I will never tire of his voice. NEVER. So those are my absolute favourites. But also up there with artists I just generally listen to for whatever reason are Cascada, Chicago, Eiffel 65, Origa, Lady Gaga, Josh Groban (love his voice too xD), Owl City, The Ting Tings (haven't heard them on the radio in a while) and.. Two Steps From Hell, but they're an orchestra, so whatever. I also used to be a HUGE Eminem fan but I haven't heard any of his recent works. I should pick up a CD some time. hobo73
Led Zeppelin *shivers* ....I USED to like them. in fact, I loved them. But I grew up with a dad and brother who weren't just LZ fans- they were LZ FREAKS. I understand being a diehard fan of a certain band. I do. but they just.....omg.... I'd walk past my dads room, and zep would be blasting from his radio. go by my brothers room, a different zep song. go in the living room- they'd actually leave a zeppelin DVD playing so that, in case they had to leave their rooms, they could watch zep on the way to the kitchen. we went on many road trips to visit family in South Carolina. 18 hour drive. my dad would bring a bunch of CDs for the trip- every zep album ever, and like 5 zep mixes. we had about 4 copies of each album and dvd, plus countless bootlegs. my brother said i wasnt allowed to hang a zep poster in my room unless he approved it (he said he was a bigger fan and had to "approve" anything LZ I owned). if I did, he'd go in, take the poster down and put it in HIS room. all my zep shirts had to be ones he already owned. ......I have heard each and every Led Zeppelin song thousands of time. I can sing along to every one of them! I gaurantee it! LOL. I just heard them waaaaaaaaayyyyy too MUCH. I still like CO/DA album and physical graffiti, but even then, in little doses.
