I've only just noticed part of the thread title says 'LRF'.

Me too! I can't believe I didn't notice that before!

and there's a reason for that...

I'm all for banning BR... in like 30 years.... only if gw is banned tomorrow http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

Was there a decision on this? http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

the only thing that was decided was that TRF Admin decided to edit the thread title without giving the OP a head's up

(much the same behavior as when TRF Admin decided to edit my member title)

seems we're right back in the sixth grade, administratively

But it makes the thread a whole lot better. It was lame. Now, it's like Tron. How do we get him out? Is he battling Master Control? Don't worry about your thread, it's much improved. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

no worries, but I'll disagree with you

the TRF Admin would as well, in order to remain consistent

^ I was asked by the TRF Admin not to 'alter' any quoted posts 'for fun' (even though I never did so without including the universally understood *FIXED notation)

their argument: I was literally changing the words of the OP, and the potential existed that someone might read my quoted post and not understand that it had been changed for editorial humor's sake

the same can be said about changing my member title/this thread title

the behavior is either acceptable or it is not

Not only did I not edit that title, I don't even know what LRF is supposed to stand for.

Maybe it stands for the Lonely Remedial Fraternity?

Alternatively, wikipedia has these suggestions:

LRF may refer to:

LRF, the FAA and IATA codes for Little Rock Air Force Base

LRF, a filetype variant of the Broad Band eBook format.

Laser rangefinder - a distance sensor used in robotics

Laogai Research Foundation, a research and advocacy organization founded by Chinese human rights activist Harry Wu

Local Resilience Forum

Long Range Forecasting, used in Long Range Planning

LRF,(Light Rock Fishing) a style of angling pioneered in Japan

LRF is a format. Like in Tron, it's as if he was digitized by a "lazer", inserted into the format, is going against the CPU, and needs to be removed- needs to get out of there.. and all that jazz. Cool jazz. Like barney- cool.

That's what I'm getting out of this thread now http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/tongue.gif It is better.
