Principled Man
QUOTE (An Enemy Without @ May 19 2011, 09:08 PM)So what happens when one universe collides with another? That's an interesting question. If our universe is just one bubble in an infinitely-sized foam of universes, then we're all attached to each other. But if we're a free-floating universe, then gravity would tend to cause collisions and mergers, just like what happens to galaxies......but does gravity even exist outside of our particular universe? .....aw, screw it.....I GIVE.... Principled Man
Let me tell y'all something: Cosmology pisses me off. And I'll tell you why....there's no answer to it!! For all the theoretical models we can invent, for all the conjecture, speculation, and wild guessing that we do, there is just NO ANSWER!! The cause of the Big Bang? Well, what caused the cause? What happened before that? And before that? And before THAT? Universes, multiverses, 11-dimension space-time continuums.....SHUT UP!! IT STILL DOESN'T ADD UP!!!! http://abyss.uoregon.edu/~js/images/wiltall_und_menschheit.gif
