I believe him. We rarely got bands from across the pond. British bands normally came over here to do their first shows to iron out any wrinkles. The only ones who religiously came over nearly every year were Quo & Springsteen, bless them.

 

And let's face it, Ireland in the '70's and most of the '80's was pretty f*cking grey, and dangerous in places.

We're in the economic shitter now, but at least we have motorways, nice cities, facilities & venues.

 

And Rush had a tiny fan base here up until now. And even now, the o2 attendance will be complemented by a healthy overseas contingent.

 

Still, 12 sleeps til Rush! Dublin, Baby!!!
