zogoto
QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Mar 17 2011, 09:38 AM) What we should probably take umbrage with is the induction of Grandmaster Flash & Furious Five and Run-DMC, or the nomination of LL Cool J. Rap, I feel, doesn't belong in the RNRHOF. Pop is more understandable. Run DMC rock, hands down.
Jaminbenb
About the only reason I'd like to see Rush in the HOF is merely for the items that would probably be displayed in the museum ...I went two years back, and it was very cool to see all of the Pink Floyd memorabilia, not to mention some other stuff that was kind of neat to see. AS far as the "prestige" part of it....you can keep it!

zogoto
While I enjoy Yes a lot (Bill Bruford is my second favorite drummer), I just don't think they've been as consistently strong a band as Rush and Iron Maiden have for as long a time. I don't know, it's hard to explain. A funny note on Deep Purple: I was given the Rolling Stone Record Guide (I think that's what it's called), and flipping through it doesn't cover Deep Purple or Rainbow. Apparently Ritchie Blackmore doesn't exist
