Sliders

What's with sliders? I don't understand the concept of taking a normal sized portion like a hamburger or chicken patty sandwhich and making them into mini portions. I'd rather just have one.

Can anyone explain why one would choose sliders over regular sized food? confused13.gif

I think the concept of sliders is for like...cooking a bunch of them in almost no time at all, since the patties are paper thin and little. That way you can cook em as you eat em, instead of waiting for one massive burger to cook.

I like them because you can have different toppings on each one. That way you don't HAVE to decide what kind of burger you want. You can have one of each.

They're popular in restaurants because the restaurant can essentially divide the same burger three ways as an "appetizer" and charge twice the price of a single regular-sized burger.

I think they're best as appetizers.

yes, this I can see as opposed to an entree.

i can eat them for an entree. just serve me up a 1/2 dozen or more with some tater tots on the side. trink38.gif

I thought they were supposed to be like an appetizer or a tapa, not a meal.

This is actually what I thought as well. Never seen them used as entrees confused13.gif

depends on how many you eat. biggrin.gif

I can eat about 17 as an appetizer biggrin.gif

What is this White Castle you speak of? 'Round these parts, we call it Krystal's.
