I've had the damn theme song to Fact of Life stuck in my head today!

You take the good, you take the bad,

you take them both and there you have

The Facts of Life, the Facts of Life.

There's a time you got to go and show

You're growin' now you know about

The Facts of Life, the Facts of Life.

It'll cost you some cupcakes :)

There are a few ways to do it, but if it's youtube... TRF automatically embeds them. All you have to do it paste the youtube link into the message http:// and all...

My favorite, and one long before the time of 99% of the people here, is the theme song to Route 66.

Aw, Principled Man, thank you! I thought George Maharis was the most handsome man back then! And their little Thunderbird  . At least, I think it was a Thunderbird. I was very young when this show was on television, but even at such a young age, I loved my music. If I remember correctly, it was on Friday night and my mother would let me stay up so I could listen to the theme song, then it was off to bed.

And I'll second Hawaii 5-0 (the king of all TV theme songs, along with Mission: Impossible), Shaft (the hippest of all TV theme songs), and the original Star Trek (the theme song of my youth)

Forgot the best one of them all, the incomparable intro to "Supercar" -- it's the marvel of the age!

Also thought of Rawhide and Bonanza, and The Avengers and The Saint! The young Roger Moore has them all beat.

I have to make a correction to the above post. My husband informed me yesterday that the two Route 66 guys zipped around in a Corvette and not a Thunderbird.
