Blue Barchetta
Do we really need threads for every song... It looks like Rush has hung it up. What else are we gonna talk about?
RUSHHEAD666
imo the song is dull, drags, and is almost painful to listen to. Absolutely spot on. Has more drag than a drag queen. Easily the worst song on the record. JUNK

grasbo
Speed of Love is ok.Main interest for me was the backwards delay/reverb unit that Alex used(can't remember the brand name of it)which was a new gizmo at the time.Cool sound.

Agreed. I like this song. As with many songs of this era, I find something interesting about the guitar sound or a particular passage, lyrics or especially a tasty bass line that draws me in. The part during the break down that you referenced is especially cool to me.

It isn't very long. If you blink, you'll miss it. Edited September 22, 2016 by Lorraine
TheAccountant
Its a good song from a good album. Fine lyrics. Don't understand the lack of love for the song. For me there is plenty to love about the song and the album.
The Analog Cub
Every time I listen to this song it reminds me of Grace Under Pressure, and it would go beautifully on there. The guitar work is awesome. I like it. A decent song on one of my favorite albums.
ctbadger
Meh. Usually one I skip over when I listen to the album.
