I'm not so sure Cindy.. In 2005 he played it all, was from the 35th Anniversary of Aqualung and it was a tour around that album and the money went to the homeless somewhere. That was downtown Denver. Was really good.

I saw Jethro Tull in '75 or maybe '76 at the old Hershey Arena. (Thick As A Brick Tour, as I recall) Completely awesome. I can still hear the band playing the opening in the dark, then in a single white spot light appeared, Ian Anderson with his flute shining bright as he put it up to his lips...

I was lost in the music and Anderson's flute-playing hijinx for the next couple of hours.

I would love to be there in Red Rocks for Kansas (who i first saw @ Harrisburg, Pa as an opening act for ... some band.... in the '70's) and Jethro Tull, but, alas, I am broke and Red Rocks (such a spectacular place) is so far away from me sad.gif

Oh wow! Hope they do this in the UK!

Me too, I'd love to see them again! wub.gif I'm gonna go check it out... If so, I know my drummer won't go with me again - he didn't enjoy it last time... sad.gif confused13.gif wacko.gif

Aw, I miss Ian... wub.gif tongue.gif

And I've been on a Tull high lately too. smile.gif

Oh wow! Hope they do this in the UK! Would love to see Jethro Tull, always my favourite of the 'prog titans'. Seen Ian Anderson turn up with Joe Bonamassa once to do Locomotive Breath. That was awesome. 1022.gif

Joe Bonamassa! Now, there is a real talent. Love Bonamassa!

Aren't they Ian Anderson solo dates only? Or am I missing something? unsure.gif

I saw (on YouTube) Ian Anderson come out and play A New Day Yesterday with Bonamassa. Simply amazing!
