At 500 degrees? It's a tough wash job Got fired after three weeks... so that Poison vid with the dude washing dishes? Yep...every five mins the mgr would come in yell wash more dishes no break...

Trying out some coconut chicken w/ pineapple-peach salsa, some basmati rice, and probably salad to go with.

sounds exotic! how'd it turn out?

Was tasty! And super easy; just dip chicken tenders or breasts cut into tenders in a mixture of egg, oil and some cayenne pepper - coat w/ coconut, bake in 400F oven until done smile.gif The salsa was pineapple and peahces w/ touch of salt, lime juice and whatever herbs you'd like. I think it would make a good summer dish though.

I did some homemade appetizer samplers tonight...

- Homeless Boneless Buffalo Wings (though I did get the wing sauce from a Wing Stop restaurant)

- Beer Battered Onion Rings

- Deep Fried Green Beans

- and Frozen Tater Tots

................ you know.......... health food.

chili possibly over spaghetti which i think makes it chili con carne.
sour cream, cheddar cheese, and hot sauce optional.

chili with meat is chili con carne

chili over spaghetti is chicago style if memory serves

but it's a damn fine night for chili no matter what!

very nice! does sound summery, but why not a little summer in a cold and dreary winter?

Steamed snapper fish, green beans, spinach, brown rice with a sweet pepper sauce. Dessert.... low sugar hot apple pie and low sugar ice cream.

I'm full.

I'm making maple/soy chicken breasts and serving a tossed green salad with red onion and avocado on the side, and some grilled sourdough rolls. Some nice white wine to drink with it.

*This* sounds good to me. I know the husband is going to hate it.

A good meal to him is overcooked meat served with no kind of sauce or anything and mashed potatoes. All he wants is a slab of dry meat with potatoes. Call it done in his book. This drives me insane.

But... I have a new rule in the house. She who cooks, serves what she wants to eat.

leftover turkey chili from the night before.  when i was making the chili it looked a little dry so i added a bottle michelob ultra.  it added some nice flavor.
