ladirushfan80
First of all, is it LAME to name your car? It is a generation thing? Do the 'kids' that are my children's ages (23, 20 & 17) name their vehicles?? Is it a dying trend??? Someone told me recently that my car needs a name. I've always just called her "Mini" and left it at that... but now... i'm curious. IF i was to name this car that i love Love LOVE... I'm not sure what I'd name her... so, i'm enlisting the help from all of YOU because, IMHO (finbar) it HAS to be a reference... ok, so here's my Mini Cooper... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v415/amandaladi/Mobile%20Uploads/0919091213b_0001.jpg Let the games begin... TullSkull
Not Lame to name your ride.. I have named all mine, so at 57 it is not a generation thing unless it has died.. I named my truck Boris the Spider and the ride I have now is call "The Pod" It is a personal thing and I like to name my rides and I like "Mini" .. A name needs to fit the driver and ride.. Ok "MTM" Mini Time Machine..
HowItIs
Looks like a By-Tor to me. Good idea, too! I still haven't named my "new" car. We got it last November after an idiot hit us head-on in my VW Golf (who was named "honu" - Hawaiian for sea turtle) and totaled it. We got a 2002 silver Jetta Wagon with the insurance money. This isn't it but it looks just like this: http://imganuncios.mitula.net/2002_volkswagen_jetta_wagon_gls_tdi_silver_bucket_seats_92452955003337861.jpg http://image9.autorevo.com/729/pics/3020751_dbe67273-eca4-45fc-a744-4c00a956d3d2.jpg Any -related ideas? It needs something consisting of only 1 or 2 syllables (because it's small). And since it's not muscular [i think "By-Tor" is suited more towards one of those tough bastard 60s Mustangs], it needs something peppy or jazzy...or even magical. Something that fits it's personality--I'd go with PRESTO or LIMBO.
