well i just got a new edition to my pedal board today, i finally got a flanger that i love. Ive played countless flangers over the last few weeks and month(s) and havent found one i like till today. Its a Ibanez Classic Series "Classic Flange FL99" it is the best flanger ive played, and got it from a local guitar shop, and man, i wish ibanez wouldnt of discontinued this line!! its amazing. Its brand new, but was in the store for around 2 years, and the price was droped by $110 from when he ordered it in, it MSRP's for $269, and i got it for $100.00 plus tax so thats more than $110. Its great, and man, i just cant say enough about it.

Hey everybody- I'm new here, and here's what I'm playing with:

Schecter C-1 Blackjack

http://static.flickr.com/42/75604094_a4d322ac18.jpg

Effects- Line 6 POD xtLive This thing is freakin' awesome...

http://line6.com/data/l/c0a8090b17d1427a7442e68b3/image/jpeg/file.jpeg

Amp- Peavey KB-100

It's an old keyboard amp I have, but it's actually the best thing to use with the POD, because it (POD) is an amp/effects modeler and if you run it through a guitar amp, the amp's inherent sound will effect what the POD is giving you. Keyboard amps or monitors, with no "sound" of their own are the best to use with one of these PODs.

I bought a 1992 Martin D-1 this weekend. My dad reclaimed his 50's D-18 a few months back and I found this one for a steal on Saturday. Couldn't pass it up. It is similar to a D-18, but has a satin finish, different bracing and neck joint. Sounds and plays great!

How do you like the Schecter? They seem pretty nice for the price.

I love Line 6 stuff.

I love Line 6 stuff.

I'm real happy with it - it's an upper end schecter - $699.00 - i switched out the pickups - I can get numerous tones from this thing - The piezo can be played with the seymours or i can plug the piezo into an acoustic amp and the seymours into my line 6 and it sounds like two different guitars - full, rich sound -

The reviews on musiciansfriend are excellent - I bought the updated

c1-ea with the toggle for the Piezo /graph tech ghost piezo and thicker body than the previous - finish for this price guitar is incredible -

My new best friend!!! Epiphone Les Paul Ultra and I also got a new pedal too. VOX V848 Clyde McCoy Wah Wah Pedal. biggrin.gif

First off...I LOVE THIS GUITAR!!! I plugged it in and hit a chord....and I think I just about fell over from the type of tone it has. It is quite amazing. This is the tone that I have been looking for.... It's really cool because I was strumming a few Zeppelin songs and it just feels right and sounds like...the real thing! you know what I mean?

The top finish is brilliant...everyone at the store was saying how nice that finish was....pretty cool biggrin.gif

It's super fast...other than my last Ibanez...this one is the one for how I want it for speed. Must be the type of finish.

Everything looks good out of the package...no buzzing whatsoever.

Again that tone is super good and I love it...I will play this guitar until it falls apart!! and that won't happen for a long time. Anyways heres the pics! Enjoy! biggrin.gif

Very impressive, Pete. Is that the modeling H&K? If so, do you use the models much?

Yes it's a modeling amp and I use a lot of the models to cover the various era's of Lifeson.

Most of the Rush stuff uses the 100W Marshall but I also use the Fender Twin, Roland JC 120, 50W Marshall, and Vox AC30. There are a bunch more amp models but I don't use them doing Rush music.

It has built in effects too (2 wahs, 2 choruses, 4 flangers, 2 phasers, fuzz, tube screamer, compressor, mid boost, delays, and reverbs).

I used to have a Vox Valvetronix and I tried the Line 6 stuff but this amp is in a class by itself. It really sounds, feels, and responds like a tube amp. The models are dead on accurate.

It's an expensive amp ($3500 new) but I got this one used but mint for $1399.

I can't say enough good things about it. It's definitely the last amp I'll ever need.
