The keyboard setup in my studio.

On top is a Roland D-50. Almost a vintage Digital! laugh.gif

On the bottom a Yamaha SO8, 88 key, weighted.

Hanging on the wall, my Ibanez 5 string bass.

On stands, fender acoustic/electric 12 string, and an Ibanez acoustic/electric 6 string...

The main part of my studio.

All of this is designed to play out, so it's not the typical studio setting.

Starting at the left, on the bottom, a Drumkat EZ, a Yamaha sampler and two boss DR-5 drum machines.

Over to the right a little, the laptop I use to post on trf the most. Above that, various midi interfaces for the computer and recorders. and a Gmega Sound canvas for the computer.

To the right a little more, a Yamaha aw16G digital hard disk recorder with cd burner. (I actually have two of these...you'll see the other in another pic. above that a soon to be replaced guitar processor that I use to process the acoustics...or used to, anyway...

On the right wing, two Roland MC-50 MKII sequncers, the heart of my midi programming (after I get done writing in sonar) and below that, kinda hidden, a Roland GR-1 guitar synthesizer.

In the rack on the far right:

A beringer 24 channel main board,

studio quad vocal effects

Midi Mixer 7s

30 band Nady main eq

dual 15 band nady monitor eq.

2 SHURE Personal Ear Monitor setups (we use no floor wedges at all...can't stand feedback)

Nady Compressor/Limiter/Gate

Nady 3 way crossover

Korg rack tuner

Amps:2 Peavey cs 800's and a cs 1000

Speaker system (for live play) 2 Peavey 3020's

4 Peavey Sheffeild 3 ways

4 18 inch peavey subs

This is my main guitar station.

There is another laptop there, for keeping notes and setlists on.

(I find a powerpoint presentation is a great setlist if you need to be reminded f certain things during the show.)

On the bottom, another Yamaha aw16g harddisk recorder. This was my first. I loved it, so added another to lightpipe together with the other...

I keep it over here where i can get to it easily while playing.

Here is my guitar station from a little bit farther back.

My main mic is in this shot, a shure 57.....who else is about the only person who sings into a '57?

You can also see the midi-controlled light rack that I built myself in this shot.

It's 15 feet long and holds 126 midi-controlled lights.

tis is only 1/3 of it here.

That tv monitor on the right is fed from a live camera feed on my driveway.

(There is another one mounted to the support beam behind the main table about 3 pictures up ^^^^....I can see the driveway from any angle down here.)

This studio is in a basement all by itself, burried underground.

Even if I wasn't jamming, I would never hear a car outside.

Here is a view of my guitar station from the Keyboards...

You can see my main guitar, a Jackson DX-1 on the right, a fender strat with gk2a pickup in the middle, and a charvel charvette with modified gk2a pickup and EVH D-tuner installed. Yopu can see the laptop and 16 track recorder, and the DIGITECH GNX-3 guitar processor on the floor, with 8 track digital recorder built-in....oh, and light #127....midi controlled spotlight for when I whip off a kickass lead onstage....or at least a decent one. tongue.gif

I like that particular guitar with the pick guard. I have seen guitars that I liked without pickguards though.

Without. Show the wood! The only Les Pauls that should have a pickguard are Gold Tops or non burst customs.

It's all about the wood!
