Wow, those are some excellent photos! The first one is definitely one of the best ones I've seen from this tour - can I ask where you got it from? And the hair... actually, the hair is great in both pictures!

 

Thank you for some sharing some loveliness to start my long work day with! :)

 

 

ETA: Also, I just love that colourful shirt Geddy's wearing. He's got great taste in stage-wear! ;) And it's nice to see him looking so fit in it.

Had to check this picture out again this morning before doing my 14 hours at work (do I ever not work an ass-ton?), and also last night when I got home from work....

 

Is it just me, or maybe it's the photo, but Geddy looks quite young here, like younger than some photos I've seen from the Presto era, 23 years ago! He obviously has the youthful vibe going with his t-shirts and jeans, but his face looks rather young and supple, too.

 

I wonder, too, what he would look like if he wasn't colouring his hair, and letting it get all grey. It's kind of funny to think of Geddy having any kind of 'ego' in that way... but the brown certainly suits him.

 

Alright. This image is pretty well embedded in my brain now, so off to work I go!

It's from Rush.com. It was taken at the 2nd gig of the tour, in Bristow, VA last September. One doesn't often have perfect days, but that day was perfect for me and this picture is pretty perfect to remember it by :yes:

Well, I happened to find the photo by happenstance - I decided to pop onto RushBackstage.com and have a nose around, and noticed there was a 'show photos' section there. I went into a section which happened to have a thumbnail of Geddy in this shirt, and wham, there it was! The Picture! So, that solves that; and the photos are watermarked 'Rush.com', though I still hadn't found a link from the Rush.com site. Some very good photos to be seen there, so I'll be nosing around more later. Wish they'd started from earlier than 2010, though! There's a certain black button-y shirt from the latter part of the Snakes and Arrows tour that I'd love to see photos of Geddy in!

I'm not sure Geddy knew what he was doing when he decided to rotate this shirt as one of his stage shirts - did he consider that someone like me would start my own personal fan club of this shirt, trawling the interwebs for photos of this shirt and the man that fills it out? Did he consider how much of my time would be spent politely drooling over these photos? No, I'm sure he did not!

 

PS Thank you for making my day with these pics, as I've needed brightening, as my day has suddenly turned very shitty indeed right after posting this, ironically enough. Just got some bad news, but it's nice to see Geddy's pectorals bring me up a little bit. :)
