apetersvt Posted November 30, 2010 Share Posted November 30, 2010 I know there's no chance in hell of hearing the songs I want to hear (Lamneth, Necromancer, Hemispheres, 2112-entire, etc...) but I think it would be cool if they swapped out the Moving Pictures set with Permanent Waves. I was really excited to finally hear Camera Eye live for the first time but the rest of MP is getting old (to me). The main thing for me is more 70s tunes. I was so thrilled on the S&A part 1 tour when they broke out Entre Nous and Circumstances (especially not knowing the setlist). I need more old B-side style tunes such as these. We will be lucky if any of the songs are rotated out for this second leg. If I had to guess here is what I think can realistically happen: Show Don't Tell for Presto Animate for Stick it Out The Trees for Closer to the Heart Surprise me boys. When it was first announced I thought it was a little weak in the first phase, but having built it into a Playlist on my Pod and run through it a few times I think it really works. I love Freewill into Marathon You also have to remind yourself of how good these songs sound live - try not to play the studio version in your head. If I could change it, I agree that the more commom MP tracks like Tom Sawyer and YYZ could be rested and replaced with Xanadu, Driven (very powerful live) or Jacobs Ladder. "Afterimage", "Natural Science", "Xanadu" perhaps I'd like to hear, even the fact that almost 3 hours is max, and can't be any longer, or maybe longer break and few more songs (maybe some "jazz" mentality) and we more "refreshing drinks". But after all..Afterimage..I Remember..I hear the voices and footprints..I remember. I feel the way the one and only RUSH would. This is the song. This is RUSH..for me.
