I'm surprised, I never thought he'd be dying any time soon, despite him being 84.

As well as the other things mentioned I remember he also played a great bad guy guest role in Kung Fu over a four episiode arc, which was impressive.

He'll be missed

RIP Leslie

And don't call him shirley!

Indeed Duck. I am totally bummed out.

Let's not forget his "serious" role in "Forgotten Planet."

Another classic.

Maybe his death will wake Hollywood up to put all of his films onto Blu-Ray!!

I can't believe "Airplane!" isn't on Blu yet.

Not to mention the "Naked Gun" movies.

Also the TV show that Naked Gun was based on Police squad...

Every movie I've seen that he's been in, I've seen more than once. What entertainment!

This is such sad news. I grew up on Police Squad and Naked Gun.

Well, I first heard the shot, and as I turned, Jim fell.

Jim Fell's the teller?

No, Jim Johnson.

Who's Jim Fell?

He's the auditor, Frank.

He had the flu, so Jim... filled in.

Phil who?

Phil Din. He's the night watchman.

I hate this. Icons of my younger days are leaving us one by one. . . sad.gif

RIP, Leslie. You made the world a better place through laughter.

One of the greatest comedy influences in my life. He was truly a guy who understand how to make any audience laugh; somehow- you cannot watch one of his films without cracking at least a snicker at some point.

We've lost one of the good ones. Truly one of my all time favorites. Thanks for the laughs, Leslie. Rest in peace.
