Recently, I've been feeling ready to have a kitty around the place again.There's someone in the village, a friend of a friend, with a cat in need of a home. I went and visited the other day, and she's so sweet, though not a kitten anymore. So, yesterday, she moved in.She's quite timid at the moment and apt to dash under the furniture at any sudden noise, because her old home also had a dog.She's showing signs of settling in...she slept on my lap last night. Although she makes a little trill noise when she jumps and landsWhen my kitty purrs, and you stroke her for long enough, she has a kind of trill that goes at the same time. When she jumps down from a windowsill and lands, she makes a sort of "pruup" sound. If I tell her she's gorgeous, she winks at me.
