well that song is pretty great. esp. the bass and guitar solos in mid. overall. 9/10!!!!!! 2.gif  1022.gif

A criminally underrated song. I'm so glad the boys brought it back for this tour to give it more exposure....it ranks right up there with YYZ for me. Nothing can touch la Villa

Heard them play it on the T4E, VT and Time Machine tours. Judging by how into it they are you can tell they enjoy playing it live.

Definitely agree! They tore it up on this tour - just stunning. And it does seem like they enjoy playing it, too. Read on Pratt's site that he does....

It's also great for walking to. 653.gif

I appreciate it and think there is definitely some great work on it by everyone, but overall it's not a tune that I am absolutely in love with. I also didn't think it was as stunning as I expected it would be on this past tour. Put it at 3rd in my instrumentals behind 1) Where's My Thing? and 2) YYZ.

I don't know if I can take you too seriously. For one, La Villa Strangiato doesn't make your top 3 Rush instrumentals, and two, Where's My Thing? is your number one choice?

just different tastes I guess. I never liked La Villa much, I mean it's a good instrumental but it kinda drags on. I can't stand Main Monkey Business. YYZ and Limbo are my favs.
