A criminally underrated song. I'm so glad the boys brought it back for this tour to give it more exposure....it ranks right up there with YYZ for me. tjtull
Love this song. I put it at number 3 or 4 on my RUSH Instrumentals List:Â 1. LaVilla 2. YYZ 3. Mal Nar (or LTTA)
EmotionDetector
One of the coolest songs they've ever done. I could never ever get sick of listening to this song. Amazing bass playing by Geddy, but all 3 of them are fantastic in this song.

That One Guy
Playing a couple Counterparts songs on the tour was a good idea. My alternative rock friends that went to the show were digging it!

Nothing can touch la Villa  Heard them play it on the T4E, VT and Time Machine tours. Judging by how into it they are you can tell they enjoy playing it live. theredtamasrule
Judging from the tour vids I've seen Geddy really seems to get a kick out of playing the tune, he flat killed it from what I can tell.

They tore it up on this tour - just stunning. And it does seem like they enjoy playing it, too. Read on Pratt's site that he does.... It's also great for walking to. Scars
I appreciate it and think there is definitely some great work on it by everyone, but overall it's not a tune that I am absolutely in love with. I also didn't think it was as stunning as I expected it would be on this past tour. Put it at 3rd in my instrumentals behind 1) Where's My Thing? and 2) YYZ. tkdryan
for me, it was one of the treats on the past tour, Alex tore it up in Dallas
shaun3701
It's a good song, but was kinda weird seeing it live without a drum solo following it.

I don't know if I can take you too seriously. For one, La Villa Strangiato doesn't make your top 3 Rush instrumentals, and two, Where's My Thing? is your number one choice? I never liked La Villa much, I mean it's a good instrumental but it kinda drags on. I can't stand Main Monkey Business. YYZ and Limbo are my favs.
