Principled Man
Football in those days must have been such an interesting experience. Are you concerned at all about the boy wonder coach? Football in those days was a brutal - even deadly - experience! I'm not worried at all about Matt LaFleur. My biggest concerns are the offensive line and whatever injuries may arise. They've already lost ILB Oren Burks to a torn pectoral. :o Kevin King, their prized cornerback from the 2017 draft, is injured yet again. :o :o
Nova Carmina
Your o-line going to be able to keep Rodgers upright and uninjured? Can he still elude like he used to?
Principled Man
Your o-line going to be able to keep Rodgers upright and uninjured? We remain cautiously optimistic. Can he still elude like he used to? If 2010/2011 is the standard, I'd say he's 85% of that. He's 35 and still very mobile.....assuming that he's not playing with a broken leg. Principled Man
The Green Bay Packers' 2019 Season: Week 1 Packers 10Bears 3 Style points don't matter in the first game, and especially when it's against da Bears! JUST WIN!! Most Valuable Player: None other than JK Scott, the Packers' big legged punter!! He consistently pinned da Bears back deep in their territory with long, very high punts. He made da Bears' offense miserable! Edited September 6, 2019 by Principled Man

Principled Man
The Green Bay Packers' 2019 Season: Week 2 Packers 21Vikings 16 Style points don't matter in the first game OR the second game!! After a thrilling 21-0 start, the Packers proceeded to turn a likely blowout into an UGLY, insane, outrageous fight for dear life. The Vikings never quit and tested the Packer defense all game long. The Packer offense, on the other hand, did a complete 180 and looked totally incompetent. Only some clutch play by the Packer defense in the 2nd half saved the team from total humiliation. A 4th quarter Kevin King interception in the corner of the end zone was the key play. Edited September 15, 2019 by Principled Man
Principled Man
The Green Bay Packers' 2019 Season: Week 3 Packers 27Broncos 16 The Denver Broncos came to play! They didn't flinch after an opening big play TD drive by the Packers, and they gave the home team all they could handle. The Packers' defense took some big gut shots, especially in the running game, but they responded with some awesome takeaways and a strong pass rush. The offense looked good to start, but just like last week, they sputtered and got confused on what to do. Matt LaFleur's new offense is still a work in progress, but so far, the defense is making up for it with huge stops. Nothing wrong with 3-0!! Just keep WINNING!! Relayer2112
I think the Packers were unlucky in that they faced the Eagles who were already in desperation mode thanks to a couple bad losses. This was the first game in which the Eagles offensive line showed up.

This was the first game in which the Eagles offensive line showed up. Their O-line certainly looked like world beaters Thursday night. The Packers' defense got a big dose of humility. They've been so excited about their big pass rush and takeaways that they've ignored how poorly they defend the run. Is Gilbert Brown available??!! :o

Syrinx
I disagree. He is so evasive and turns nothing into something on a regular basis. That fumble that turned into a forward pass - no one else could do that. He is totally trapped at times and I am certain he is going down and he escapes and makes a completed throw. Unreal. And yes the other Aaron was on fire also.
Principled Man
Aaron Rodgers needs to retire! He is our nemesis! He didn't do much yesterday. Rodgers did something very special Sunday. He stayed with the offensive scheme and let his running back and O-line win the game. He made good passes when necessary, and he trusted the game plan. He was very happy with himself for how he managed the game. I'm not sure that he would have done the same in past years.
