Congratulations to the Packers, and any of their fans who still have working hearts!

Indeed...not a beating heart amongst our crew until that last 42 seconds of the game...wow! Close...TOOOO close...but what a great way to win. Good times!

Well, Aaron Rodgers is now tied in Super Bowl victories with Brett Favre, and in 13 fewer years as a starter, and one more MVP than Brett.

Maybe Paul Allen even thinks he's as good as Eli Manning, and even better than Joe Flacco now.

Bart, Brett and Aaron, all achieve their first Super Bowl victory at the age of 27...it was Aaron's density that he'd win tonight!

SUPER BOWL XLV

Green Bay Packers 31

Pittsburgh Steelers 25

Aaron Rodgers and his Championship Belt. Most Valuable Player, and holder of the Lombardi Trophy.

What an amazing, thrilling, frustrating, hair-pulling, and joyous game. The Packers NEVER blinked....even after losing their two most important team leaders to injury, they never wavered. They grabbed that storm of a game with all hands and rode it out. They took every gut blow and head shot that the tough, TOUGH Steelers could give, and they walked away as Champions.

The clutch play by Rodgers has answered and silenced ALL doubters FOREVER. His tenacious defense did what they always do - either suffocate the opponent or take the ball away.

The Master Plan of Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy has earned the Ultimate Reward - the Lombardi Trophy is coming home.

GO PACK GO!!

Hats off to Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Pack. As a diehard, lifelong Steeler fan, it was clear to me the better team won.

Rodgers is the real deal. He proved it last night. Not sure if there is a faster release in the game right now.

Enjoy the victory Packer fans!!!

Lambeau Field, February 8th, 2011

Thousands of brave Packer fanatics filled Lambeau Field in spite of the 7 degree weather to welcome their Super Bowl champion Packers home.

Aaron Rodgers, the Super Bowl MVP, ignored his severe lack of sleep over the past two days (Disney World, Letterman, etc.) to attend and inform the crowd that the Packers fully intend to REPEAT next year.

The mayor of Green Bay announces the official renaming of one of the city's streets....imagine that...!!!

Anyone go? I didn't make it up there.

I got all my gear, though smile.gif

My favorite - the XLV hat added to my collection. I have over 20 Packers hats lining the wall of my rec room, and another SB hat is an awesome add!

I was back in Milwaukee for another event on the Friday before, and didn't leave until Monday morning so I was among my Peeps to watch THE Game! Soooooo great to be back in the homeland to see the victory! I'm really pissing off all of my co-workers with my Green & Gold "G" garb this week...especially the Chicago native and my UPS driver, also from Illannoy...haha! I'm also signing all of my e-mails with a P.S. "Go PACKERS!!!" which has tripped a couple of fuses as well...I say FUQUE 'EM! The state of Wisconsin was 3 points short of a PERFECT football season this year...I finally get to brag and I'm gonna make the most of it while I can.

Here is my Super Bowl Champ shirt, purchased at 5:45 a.m. on Monday morning, Feb 7, at the Milwaukee airport...these merch guys have got their shiite together, eh?!

Yeah, seriously! NFLshop.com had the Packers champ stuff within 1 minute of the game being over.

I have one of those and a black T shirt with a big ring with XLV on it. Might be a Kohl's exclusive cuz I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Along with that, a hat and 2 pint glasses biggrin.gif
