Most of the reviews Ive seen on this were pretty much 'meh', but wifey likes to watch films where girls kick the crap out of guys so we went.

Story was pretty pedestrian but engaging with a couple garden variety twists. Some pretty good action scenes. I thought it was worth a trip to the cineplex. My son kept nudging me to stay and see Inception again.

For you pervs out there, not much to drool at in this one no.gif . she's pretty much dressed head to toe the whole movie. excpet for the first couple minutes while she gets tortured in her underwear. not sexy no.gif

Part of this was filmed in Albany, NY where myself and GeddyRulz is from.

Yeppers.

There's a car chase scene near the beginning of the movie where she jumps atop a moving vehicle. (Perhaps a tractor trailer?) The streets are in downtown Albany and the highway is I-787.

I have no respect for her or her alley cat husband so I won't be wasting my money seeing it.

Brad Pitt's an alley cat? Hmmm, a little schmutzy with his beard thing he had, yes. Alley Cat? nah. Good actor. Now her on the other hand, freaky-deekie. yes.gif And quite frankly I think she leaves a lot to be desired in the looks department, she looks exactly like her dad. yech.

Now I don't care much for their politics either, but I don't pick my friends or my actors based on that. They have done a lot for the NOLA area so I give them their due for that.

Every now and then she does something where she looks simply pretty, and I think she's attractive. Then the other 95% of the time, she's caked in heavy makeup and trying to look sexy, but merely comes across looking like porn star plastic.

I have no problem with Pitt, I rather liked him in most of what I've seen him in. I liked his performance in the Ocean's # movies.

I know next to nothing about their personal lives or politics other than the massive headlines - some kind of kerfuffle with Jennifer Aniston a while back, adopting kids from other countries... that's about all I know, really. And it's all I care to know, and I only know that much because it's unavoidable.

They're actors. Stick to acting, I say.

I really enjoyed Mr.& Mrs. Smith. I thought she looked great in that one. Brad Pitt's a pretty good actor IMO.

I had to laugh at a review of this I read the other day, which basically boiled down to "This movie sucks, but it has Angelina Jolie in it, so it's good."

Actually, the "Salt" character was originally a guy, but was re-written as a woman for Jolie. So... if they hadn't changed the sex of the character, you'd be saying it's a TOTAL Bourne rip-off. laugh.gif

And if I remember right, Tom Cruise was tied to the project before Jolie.
