trenken
I cant remember a single thing about that 85 show. I was only 9. Only thing I still remember to this day was how bad Geddy's voice was that night. Maybe it was late in the tour, maybe he was sick, but even at 9 I knew damn well he sounded awful, and I remember my stepdad mentioning that to me. Cant remember a single song they played though. His voice is my only memory of it. I had already been a fan since I was 6 so I was surprised at how he sounded live.

Mara
Couldn't remember all of them, so checked Power Windows . March 23rd, 1983 in The Omni, which had some of the worst acoustics ever. Thank god that dump is no more. You guys aren't gonna believe that I do not remember a damn thing about The Camera Eye, nor Broon's Bane. I was 15 and had JUST had major reconstructive ear surgery the week prior. Mom almost didn't let me go, but my doctor okay'd it as long as I wore earplugs (promised I would and then didn't). The Spirit of Radio Tom Sawyer Freewill Digital Man Subdivisions Vital Signs The Camera Eye Closer To The Heart Chemistry The Analog Kid Broon's Bane The Trees Red Barchetta The Weapon (Count Floyd intro) New World Man Limelight Countdown Encore: 2112 (Overture/Temples of Syrinx) Xanadu La Villa Strangiato In The Mood YYZ Drum Solo YYZ

pratt53
QUOTE (trenken @ Jul 19 2010, 09:11 PM) QUOTE (crazygeo @ Jul 19 2010, 09:08 PM) Yes it was a band called RIOT if my memory serves me right check out the site in this thread and check out the videos for some Honestly I dont get it. Maybe it was different during that tour, but I saw them just a few years later, and ever since then when they had an opening act we got 2 hours shows, which you could not fit all those songs in. That is the set list and it was only 2hrs, maybe a couple of minutes longer. A lot of the songs were short and part of a medley and Neil's solo in those days was maybe 3:30 minutes. Beneath Between and behind is less than 3 minutes. Broone's bane is 1:30. The portion of Armageddon was about a minute and same goes for In The End.
