I would say they were in their "prime" at this point....

I was just a High School rocker in 1981..my first 2.gif show on the Wildman Jack tour bus from the Poconos

Careful with using that word "prime" around here, people get upset.

I agree with you. That was when they were at their best, never as good since.

if not please remove I am new here, but old!

Its hard to believe that is a real setlist. That's pretty much a dream setlist for me, but I first saw them on the power windows tour when I was 9, and it wasnt nearly as good as that.

I dont understand that setlist though, that looks like it was a long show, and they had an opening act in those days. Only usually played for a couple hours tops.

Did they not have an opening act that night?

They had an opening act that night or nights. They played two shows at the Brendan Byrne. I believe it was the band Riot.

Yes it was a band called
RIOT
if my memory serves me right

check out the site in this thread and check out the videos for some

Honestly I dont get it. Maybe it was different during that tour, but I saw them just a few years later, and ever since then when they had an opening act we got 2 hours shows, which you could not fit all those songs in.

What the hell was B,B,&B doing in that set?  Really sticks out as awkward - thought they'd given up on most pre-2112 stuff by then.

Fly By Night is fantastic, all of it. Well, except Rivendell.
