They playing any indoor arenas this tour?

I'm sick of seeing them outdoors on every tour. Sure its nice out in the summer, but the sound and lighting both suck. The sound just gets lost in the open air, doesnt have the same punch it has indoors.

Ive seen them indoors many times, but on the VT tour I saw them outside for the first time at PNC, up very close, and the sound sucked. Then I saw them later that tour indoors at the arena where the NJ Nets play and the sound was amazing, I could feel Neil's bass drum kicking me in the ass constantly. I loved it and I miss that.

I'm pretty sure Vegas is indoors. I was really hoping they'd play the Toyota Center in Houston for the same reasons you list. But, alas, it's an outdoor show.

No doubt. I wish they'd do a winter tour again, so they'd have to do arenas.

Tempting but that has to be like 6 hours from me, and PNC is 10 minutes.

That's cool. I don't think I would drive 6 hrs to see a concert either. This place was basically built for two things, hockey and concerts. The sound will probably be excellent.

Wouldn't it sort of depend on the arena? It used to be that major rock acts in Atlanta were always at the Omni, and if there was ever a place with worse acoustics I can't think of it right offhand. That place was razed and not a moment too soon.

I haven't had a chance to attend any concerts in the new major arena, but reports are good.

But yes, the light shows are far more impressive indoors.

My show at Mohegan Sun casino is indoors. They have played there the last 3 tours. I miss them playing the amphitheater in my area. The theater they returned to in Hartford for Vapor Trails was my favorite venue to see them in. I guess they and the crew enjoy the casino venue much more and I can certainly understand why. It has a lot to offer.

We're seeing them indoors in San Antonio in Septemeber. Last time we saw Rush indoors was in Phoenix on the TFE Tour.

Vegas is definitely indoors. I'm looking forward to seeing the band indoors at Vegas and then 2 night later at Red Rocks. It will be nice to get 2 different takes on the show.

Yes, Vegas is indoors.

And to make it better, Porcupine Tree is in Vegas the night before and Primus has a midnight concert right after Rush!!

the last time i saw Rush inside was Hold Your Fire in Raleigh. Prior to Raleigh all my shows had been inside and after Raleigh they have all been out side.

Might be cool to see an inside show again...... 2.gif

I had a free ticket to go see them for R30 in Phillips Arena in Atlanta.

I had to pass on it because my son had just been born, and mommy needed help taking care of him (she had c-section). sad.gif

THAT........was a hard decision......in fact, I'm getting emotional here. fists crying.gif

Not that I regret the decision I made, but only wish I did not have to make it.

I saw them both indoors and outdoors during the S&A tour. Frankly, they sounded better outdoors. Edited by Rushman14

Seems to me you made the right call. family first.

My friends older brother scored us second row center for signals in greensboro. the day of the show came by and his son was born on that day. we went with another friend.
