Just got back from the Hollywood WOF ceremony

So I work in Hollywood and told the boss im taking an early lunch. I call my co-worker and fellow Rush geek Dax to see if he's going, but he doesnt answer. Oh well I'm out of here and take off. As I'm walking down Hollywood Blvd I notice the couple in front of me was clearly heading in the same direction

I get to the festivities and see there is quite a large crowd. where am I gonna stand?

I manage to squeeze into the crowd and get a good spot. The master of cermonies dude introduces Alex and Ged and has a nice speech about all their accomplishments. He gets a good laugh by referring to 2112 and two one one two.

:bump:     Self indulgent bump for my 10000th post. I thought some of the newer members might get a kick from my experience seeing Rush get their star on the Hollywood WOF :)

Donna Halper then gets up and makes a very nice speech about loyalty and stuff.

Then Billy Corgan made a speech and got a good laugh apologizing to Alex and Ged for ripping off Bytor when he wrote Cherub Rock "do da do da da, do da da da, do da da da

Nah, thanks for sharing the great pics!! I really wanted to go, but I couldn't swing the funds because all our extra money went to hubby going to see Iron Maiden earlier this week. Sigh.... sad.gif

then its the boys turn. Ged gets up first and talks about what a trip is to go from a kid in the streets of Toronto to the Walk of Fame in Hollywood

so they wrap it up and head to the side stage area and it appears to be a done deal.
