The obligatory pre-going out bathroom selfie me and my friends always take when anxious about leaving the house.

See...I can smile on occassion!

I love that color!

Thank you! I saw a few suits in risky colours and...me being me...tried them all but I just loved this one.

Some people probably couldn't pull off that color but you look good in it.

Totally. IMHO, it only works for taller, slimmer, lighter skinned dudes.

Definitely. When I asked to try it on I got a sceptical look (one I know I give all the time)...tried it on the stylist shut up.

I know my stuff!

I think I should go back into styling lol...

Segue, you are quite the dude.

However, if you don't mind me saying, you need to put on a few ounces. I know you are very tall, but you also appear from these photos very thin. Maybe it's the angle of the pictures?

Those were the angles where I looked the most healthy.

I'm trying lol.

Would some kind and patient soul please try to explain to me how to post pics, so that you all can see my glorious or not so glorious self? Yep, I have been a member here all these years, and still don't know how to do that. Shameful, I know. I recently accused another member of being "forum tech challenged", with complete justification, but it also happened to be a serious case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Just for noobs and technically challenged oldies like you, here's a thread on how to post pics to trf:

http://www.therushfo...-photos-to-trf/

An important point:

In order to post photos here they must be on a webserver and visible to the public. With the exception of avatar pics, you cannot simply upload them to TRF.

So...you have to copy them from Facebook or Photobucket, for example.

I recently changed from Photobucket to Imgur because Photobucket has gotten really slow to load photos and has a ton of pop up ads. Dread Pirate, open a free Imgur account and drag your photo in to the screen. Then on the side, some links are listed, with a little box that says Copy. Just click on the Copy box for the link that says "BBCode(message boards + forums)". Then just click on the TRF comment box and your photo will show up when you hit post !

Doesn't . . . f***ing . . . work.

Gah.

I don't know what the problem is. I am not so stupid that I cannot follow directions. I am following them precisely.

Time to go to bed before I take an axe to my computer in frustration.

Table Rock Mountain, Pickens County, SC. Dec 27, 2016. Was hot and sweaty by the time I reached the point where this pic was taken. Rough ass hike, but well worth it. Started the hike with a warm long sleeved sweatshirt on, but pulled it off and stuffed it in my backpack about 1/4 way up the mountain. Put it back on shortly after this pic was taken, after resting a bit, when the coolness of the day matched and then exceeded the internal warmth I had built up from the hike up, said internal warmth decreasing with the rest.

blueschica, I owe you a debt of eternal gratitude. I don't have to either kill my computer with an axe or commit suicide in frustration.

Thank you, very much.

Another fun way to post here is to just copy the image itself once it's uploaded. No need for the link. As long as it's public and uploaded somewhere online.

I have tried that very thing many times, and it has never worked. I really think that some things that work on some people's computers and connections do not work on others. Exactly why that is, I do not know enough about computers or internet connections to understand. I just know it really seems to be the case.

It is! We'll be going back there this weekend as there's a Okinawan drum show (always pretty cool) going on. So, we'll have a picnic, do a little less hiking this time so that we can check out the show. :)

Osaka is a concrete jungle and finding greenery is tough as you can see here (not my pics):

If you look (if you squint) toward the bottom of this pic you'll see a train in the middle of all that madness. I'll be on that in a few hours.

We live in a suburb between Osaka city (where we both work) and the cool mountainside area.

It is, and I have been on that same mountain with no fog before.

However, I love a good hike in the fog as well. It gives the woods a very otherworldly, mysterious quality, to the point where I can imagine suddenly catching a glimpse of faeries or wood spirits . . . .
