Took a trip to Salem, MA yesterday. The top pic is of me with the TVLand statue of actress Elizabeth Montgomery of "Bewitched".http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v312/kellyparis/2013-06-22143650.jpg

Great pictures! :hi: from Norwood :hi:

Did you visit Bunghole Liquors? When I went to Salem, I was in college and this really made me laugh. Stupid Beavis and Butthead...

Nah. We didn't get to see too much in town. I'd visited Salem a few times in the past, although I'd heard of this place.

My wife found this 1993 Mazda Miata on the internet. We flew from Nashville to Tampa, Florida to check it out. The engine was so clean you could eat off it. It's twenty years old and it runs like a dream. We drove it to Panama City Beach and stopped for the night. I was so happy I got drunk and had a flashback to my Navy days. Photo taken in some kind of weird sex/head shop that I barely remember going into. I'm just glad we didn't wake up with any strange new toys in the bed (just the usual ones).

Have you ever looked at your registration for the Suzuki? It will most likely say Suzi. My registration says Kawk... You ride a Suzi and I ride a kawk...

Wait...

It's difficult to comprehend how much gay is in these two pictures.

Yeah, yeah, without the "wife" I would be a gay icon. She asked me not to do it, but here is Mrs. Birdsong

Gay? I don't think so.

http://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/z437/drbirdsong/Marie.jpg

What in the world did I do to deserve such a beautiful woman? She isn't just easy on the eyes, she is also loved by everyone that meets her. Me? People say that I'm one of those guys that you "have to get to know" because I come across distant and misanthropic. Marie? She is a gem, a jewel scattered among the ruins. I would not trade her for all the treasure in the world because nothing could measure up.

Gay?

Not there is anything wrong with that, but good Lord why would you not play for our team and seek out such beauties?

I don't believe it was a genuine concern, nor would it matter (well, your wife would probably be rather upset), but, Sheldon's comment was pretty funny. Tell her not to worry - it is a great photo (beautiful blue eyes) I really like your photos. Gosh that car is *so* pink!

I was just kidding about the gay thing, bro. It was just the color of the car, the sailor's hat, and that grin on your face that pulled it all together. I was just being snarky, not serious.

And your wife is definitely beautiful.

Here I am at 15 years old, meeting Rick Nielsen and Bun E. Carlos!!!

In the picture with Rick, I was shaking so badly he told me it was OK, he could feel me trembling lmao. >.<

I have a picture with Bun E. but have to crop it to cut my mom out of it =/ lol. He told me I could stand there and "snap away", so I did ;)

No worries I knew you were kidding. I started celebrating the 4th early this year and was probably half in the bag by then. She didn't want me to put the picture up after seeing the recent Sandra Bullock thread...

Yes, although that fish was caught with a lure. We can also tie our own flies, skin a moose, build snowshoes and an igloo, run a dog team, tap a tree for syrup, build a fire from moss and damp matches, follow hockey. The list is really quite endless, especially the closer you get to the Yukon. ;)

Yes, but, can you pat your head and rub your tummy at the same time?!

Great pics CygnusGal! Is that a bass? I've lured for pike and zander but we don't get bass here...

Thanks, Lysdsey. :) Yes, that is a largemouth bass. The pond also has perch, pickerel and a few brown trout.

Patting head *and* rubbing tummy at the same time. Tough one. I can walk and chew gum though.

Yay!! :yay: Me too!!

My post above is living proof that quoting other posts while using a Smartphone is a bad deal.

About the marathon, it was the best running experience I ever had. Can you imaginw running by a place with this much history? And arriving at the Colosseum was really great - I cried as I crossed the finisg line. Totally worth the months of preparation and the pain afterwards.
