goose, are you in that motley crew? Is it roll playing, like reenactments of fables or fandom stuff?

Swashbuckling!

Nah, we are actually golfing buddies, but we get along great and have become good friends

What kind of bike?

In 2020 and 2021 during all the pandemic restrictions, I rode my bike more than every before in my life. Some ignored Rush albums on my headphones, long rural roads watching the farm lands and hills roll by, it was very therapeutic!

It's a Trek FX 6 Sport. I rode again today despite the 45 degree weather and sprinkling rain but today I was prepared so it wasn't too bad. The bike is understated and looks rather plain but is anything but.

Admittedly, I used to look like a bit like Michael York

It was actually yesterday, but I survived colonoscopy! What I was very scared of weeks and weeks in advance was the preparation and if I would feel sick, not the colonoscopy itself. I'm so thankful that the nurse changed the medicine for PicoPrep, it didn't cause any side effects at all, and I actually felt great when I got to the hospital.

I was given a slight sedative. I didn't want any painkillers, and luckily there was no pain. It was astonishing to watch the insides of myself from the computer screen, they reminded of the vaults of a medieval cathedral. After seeing this I have a much greater appreciation for my intestines, and I think I will consider more of what I will give them to digest. Everything was fine, the doctors wanted to find out properly why I keep getting anaemia. A gastroscopy will take place in late May, but I've had it done once and I know I'll survive it this time as well.

But for now, I'm enjoying being allowed to eat again now that the colonoscopy is over.

You go Girl!!!!!

I am still waiting for the day, we'll see. No history and nothing to sound an alarm but I am getting to the "every two years" or so age.

A friend recently described the exact same thing - watching what is going on and realising the acres upon acres of places for a chicken nugget or another plate of french fries might linger.

And I just looked up iron deficiencies (as one example). It's a wonder any of us retain iron at all!

Took a day with my son to go skiing in northern New Hampshire.  Beautiful conditions and no lift lines.  I knew it was going to be a great day when I walked down to guest services to get our lift tickets and Paul McCartney's Take it Away was playing on the PA.  Since he was little, we've made it a point to be among the last people down the mountain at the end of the day.  I used to do it to humor him because he's a "stayer."  Now we did it so I could wring out all the time I had with him.

Been a go lately. A good friend called me this afternoon  ... so we escaped to the farm and shook off a few cobwebs. I felt reunited with the universe for a bit. I crashed early after I arrived home. When I awoke, I  thought it was later, then laughed. I always look at the western sky in the evening.

My daughter ... when very  young used to say ...  there's a lemon in sky!

Venus was above, two moons in glory!

Time does not wait ... but, happy birthday to my little easter bunny who inexplicably turns 37 this year.

I can tell the difference between a British and an Australian accent now.  It's mostly in the way they pronounce the long E, as well as their T's and D's.

Australian accents are lilting and musical.  They always sound so excited about everything, like Kylie Minogue.

I'm in Publix food shopping, at the deli counter.  Two gents are, from the open front of the counter, loading display packages of Boar's Head products, blocks of cheese and cold cuts when one of them accidentally drops a wrapped "bullet" of hard salami, say 20 lbs.  I couldn't help myself; "hey man, don't drop your meat.'" The girl behind the counter and female customer have a "huh" look on their faces while the two guys are nearly pissing themselves from laughing.  Order is restored quickly, I get my deli items, and continue on.  The dropper says 'Take care man, that was sick."

The indictment of Donald John Trump.

On a side note someone sent a Tweet to Stormy Daniels (I missed that the first time) that said "President Trump wouldn't touch you with a 10 foot pole". She replied something along the lines of "You're right it was more like 3 inches".

Savage ratio on that one.

Also, 34 counts!?  Porn star!?  That rule takes on a whole new meaning.

I bought a pink Def Leppard sweatshirt at H&M.  It's my favorite piece of clothing.

Sorry for a late response. A part of getting prepared for colonoscopy for me was to try think the whole thing as a privilege (as it really is). Somewhere else, say, in the countryside of Afghanistan, I probably wouldn't be examined. I've found any positive thoughts and especially practicing visualization helpful in advance. And during the preparation and the examination self-soothing words play a great role.

Thursday met the Librarian from our State Prison and donated boxes of books that had piled up since the beginning of 2019 at our house.  It felt good to see them go and be put to good use.
