The Analog Grownup Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Video chatted with my 2 year old niece and my sister today. I love being able to talk to her and see her now that we don't live in the same city. My sister is learning her daughter to put words to her feelings, and it's wonderful to see my niece articulate what bothers her. My sister is not living an easy life and practically raising her daughter alone, but I have never seen someone rise to the occasion that fast. Never had she babysat before or really cared. But from the day she decided to have her baby she committed to it 100 %. What made my day was feeling so proud of my sister. This may not seem like a big deal to some; however, I got my FIRST smart phone only about six months ago, my precious iPhone5. Today, I upgraded and I'm in love. Not that it helps matters that my phone is constantly on vibrate mode and I store it in my front pants pocket but still!! I honestly love these smart phones. Wow.
