What made your day today? v.2

Ok, I have to share this because I'm such a proud mom.

I don't ever reveal too, too much online but some of you do know that my oldest was diagnosed with Autism when he was four. He's high-functioning and does very well but he was in the special needs class at school. Well, two weeks ago they moved him into a general education classroom because he has progressed so much. I was a little apprehensive but he is doing great! He's handling the work load just fine (which was a HUGE difference from the special needs classroom). I was worried about how the kids would treat him. He's making friends left and right, he already has a best friend and they cannot be separated, kids come running up to him after school to say goodbye, the girls are going crazy for him (the other day, I watched him walk into his class line before school started and two girls couldn't stop hugging him - he had the hugest smile on his face). The other day this little girl was telling me how smart he was (his math and reading skills are way above his grade level).

I'm so proud of my little man.

Children are so much wiser than grown-ups..... :)

I don't worry over him very much these days. Not like before. He's shown me what a tough little guy he is!

And he especially likes the ladies. He always has. He has a pick-up line too. "My favorite color is pink." It isn't but that's his equivalent to, "What's your sign" or, "Come here often?" The girls fall for it every single time.

A few months ago, I told my boss how we're gonna do things. He didn't like it at first (just to be right kinda thing) but he gave in. I did things MY way. Now, a few months later, he wrote me a fat check for all the money I saved him (the company) in that time. I was just sooo weird that his tight ass did that. whatever.........

They took the chains off of me. I'm commanding four vehicles at once!

Yeeee-Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did 31 out of 66 vehicles. Two other guys split the rest, and I finished way before both of them.

My grandson came home from school today and told me, "My friend Ben thinks you're a wizard!"

I signed up for my first running race. In 2 weeks from today I will be running a 5 K. I can't remember ever running in a race of any kind since elementary school. I am excited and nervous at the same time.... :)

Superbowl party tomorrow. And when we win, a Superbowl victory dance.

I am really, really, really looking forward to this.

And so happy to see all the Seahawk love here.
